During Hotelympia 2016, the INKKA stand was next to The Staff Canteen Live – Skillery, which over four days showcased one of the most stellar line-up of chefs ever amassed on UK soil. With this great location our team was able to approach some of the leading master chefs and judges with samples from our freshly made pasta
We are pleased to share that we had the honour to meet Raymond Blanc, one of the world’s most respected chefs and president of the Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA) who had not just one bite from our pasta but two as he liked it that much with the comment ‘mmm…very nice’ 🙂
We also teamed up with Omero Gallucci – Granada Retail Catering’s senior fleet executive chef at P&O who now has our pasta range to enjoy and develop great recipes for our website.
Another great chef whom we loved was Geoff Acott, Vice President of The Craft Guild Chefs. During his judging duties we grabbed him to not only sample and approve our pasta but also to give him a few of our consumer boxes to donate during a charity event he was organising.
Since we strongly advocate ‘giving back to society’, especially with the support we provide to our local farmers in Peru, having this additional charitable opportunity from Geoff made our team feel amazingly happy when leaving the show.
