ORGANIC QUINOA GRAIN

WHITE QUINOA – 250g

Our organic white quinoa is considered the mildest in flavour, the least crunchy, and the quickest to cook at 10-15 minutes from all of the quinoa types. Its white colour makes a great and more nutritious alternative to rice and with the recent demand for dairy-free nutrition, we also like to use it for making dairy-free milks and desserts. We most love to enjoy its fluffy texture at breakfast in our Blueberry Quinoa Porridge.

RED QUINOA – 250g

Our organic red quinoa has a slightly stronger taste, packs more of a crunch, and takes longer to cook – 15-20 minutes. Unlike its white sister, the red ancient grain contains more riboflavin – the B2 vitamin that is key in energy production while its red colour comes from lycopene – a powerful antioxidant for heart health. Red quinoa also holds its shape better than white quinoa, making it a better choice for salads and dishes where you want the grain to standout. We enjoy its red beauty the most in our Zesty Salad.
